About CPA Dr. James Okello Onyoin
James holds a Honorary Doctorate in Corporate Governance and Leadership from the Commonwealth University and the London Graduates School.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), Project Management Practitioner, Tax Professional and holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Oxford Brookes University UK, B.Com degree from MUK, he also holds a post Graduate Diploma in Income Tax Administration (DITA). He is a Public Financial Management (PFM) and Governance Expert with extensive hands-on experience of over 20years in PFM and Tax reforms, project design, management, implementation, evaluation and quality assurance of Integrated Financial Management Information Systems in the African region (The Gambia, Kenya Liberia, Lesotho, Uganda, Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan, South Africa and Tanzania). James previously held senior management positions at the Tropical Bank, Uganda Revenue Authority, Ernst & Young, KPMG, and PWC. He is a board member at ESKOM Uganda, Citibank Uganda, CEO Summit Uganda and the League of East African Director and is a member of the Parliamentary Commission Internal Audit Committee. James chairs the Audit and Risk Committee at ESKOM and the Board Audit
